At the behest of one of my colleagues, I begrudgingly borrowed this book in preparation to optimize my website. I have an aversion to books in the IDIOTS and DUMMIES series and generally opt for more dignified book titles. However, as I got into this book, I was delighted to discover the breathtakingly simple and well organized presentation style of Michael Miller. I easily grasped the key concepts in the book without my eyes growing crossed. This book was BEAUTIFULLY WRITTEN. I enthusiastically recommend it to anyone who needs to learn about SEO, PPC, and other web management metrics. I will be on the look out for more books from this author.

I've just started reading this book today and so that it is fresh in my mind, I plan to submit more than one review, based on what I've read to that point. So far, the book has gotten off to a rocky start with me... The reason I bought the book was the sell-line on the front of the book "Send your site to the top of the search results list". At this point, I've been reading through several pages of explaining the intent of the book (which I thought was summed up in the sell-line) and explaining the history that preceded Search Engine searching (which is obsolete). Frankly, it's falling flat so far because I've read too much and spent too much time learning nothing I can use... I read to learn useful information or to gain, not for pleasure or trivia... I would have purchased a novel or something lighter if that was my intent. Possibly more to come.
