I started with Frontpage years ago because it was visual though you’ll know you’re on track when you decide it’s limitations (such as changing your code) mean you have to work with the code directly. I use a text editor called SuperEdi now with basic syntax highlighting. The code isn’t difficult to learn, you just have to learn it the right way so use the W3C HTML and CSS validators and they will help you out a lot.

I’ve already created a simple functional forum for version 2.9 of my website (29th version). At this point (2009) I’m building an integrating everything sort of like what AMD is in a sense. I presume ‘embal’ was intended as embed?

I’m working on a private business and I personally don’t have the patience to work with clients on web design alone. Being able to do both client *and* server is essential to me.
Web design (clientside as in XHTML/CSS/JavaScript) is most often outsourced to web developers or graphic designers (hence why most of the web has horrid invalid code). It depends on the area you live in. Look around and if you can’t do web design you’ll have to do it and something else. Never limit yourself.

I will eventually be creating a tutorial site on my website sometime after I have gotten Version 2.9 up and running. I want to allow people to leave comments on the tutorial pages. It won’t simply be, “This is an array” but more along of, “Here area examples of when you want to use an array when you build X, Y, or Z”.
