Affiliate Marketing Is Not For Everyone
Written by Clement Faria on November 29, 2009 under Business.

After some trials with the whole affiliate marketing and observing other peoples journeys, I have come to the conclusion that it’s not for everyone. Some people can make a profit while some just can’t get it done. It’s just like everyone can’t be a drug dealer or a Sales Person, you have to be talented in that area of work. I consider myself more of a “Builder” that a “Marketer”
Me now, I am a pretty decent web / multimedia developer I can build almost anything a client wants or provide a solution for their problem BUT I totally suck at being a Sales Agent and bring in actual work. Most of my work come from recommendations from other clients or the random person that visits my website. I know people who can go out and practically sell anything.
Anyhow back on the topic, I been reading this forum alot or money making techniques I am currently working with adsense and amazon (astore) the profits are not even worth mentioning, but still see persons “claiming” they made this amount of money a month or that much sales etc. I have come to the conclusion that I won’t be able to get this marketing done and make those amount, even tho i might be able to build the prettiest of websites or other graphic work. I have accepted my faults and limitations.
Maybe there are other money making avenues that I can work on, as I am not the type to give up. I havent given up on Affiliate Marketing, just accepted the fact that i basically suck at it. I have been trying freelance stuff, but most of the clients just like to put you on a shortlist and then discard you.
